How to use Groups in Classroom Hero

Groups let you organize students, and each group earns points that are shared among its members. This is especially helpful if you already organize your class by tables, since you can use Classroom Hero to track points for each table.

Create a New Group

To create a new group, from your students list for your class select the “Groups” option at the top

Once on the groups page, click “Add Group”

In the pop-up, enter a Group name (such as Table A) and select the students you want as part of that group.

Click on the newly created group, and you can give use your Positive and Negative actions as you do rewarding a single student

Wrap-up

That’s it—create a group, add students, and start rewarding the whole table at once.
