Transfer Class to a School

Learn how to transfer your classes to a school

This guide will demonstrate how you can transfer one of your classes into a school.

Note: Schools are covered more in-depth in our School & District Guide(link). If you are a School Leader (i.e. principal, admin, etc) looking to use Classroom Hero, you may want to start there.

For teachers, lets continue on to see how we can transfer a class into a school.

Transfer New Class to a School

This only applies if you are already part of an existing Classroom Hero school.

When adding a new class to a school, on the first screen of the Create Class Wizard, you will see a dropdown to select your school

  1. Search for a different school

If you are adding the class to on of your existing schools, you can simply click the school and then click “Transfer”

If you need to search for the school first, type the name or address of your school into the search bar and click on your school

You will be shown a page to transfer your class, however since you are not already part of the school, this will notify the school leader and they can approve the class transfer and add you to the school.

Click Transfer and you will be shown the screen below:

Once the request is approved, you will be a member of the school and your class will be transferred.
